Crime Branch succeeded in arresting most wanted miscreant Mukhtaar Malik. Accused was wanted in different criminal cases. Accused was arrested along with a pistol, two magazines and 25 live cartridges. Crime Branch got the air that wanted miscreant Mukhtaar Malik is hiding in Goharganj. Acting swiftly, Crime Branch team reached Goharganj and got information that Mukhtaar Malik is present at Jungle Paradise Dhaba.
As accused is a dreaded miscreant and always carry fire arms along with him, hence, Crime Branch sleuths exercised all necessary precautions while arresting Mukhtaar Malik. One pistol, two magazines, 25 live cartridges were recovered from his possession. Mukhtaar Malik is having total 56 criminal cases against him. He is having cases against him in police stations including Tallaiya, Bilkheria, MP Nagar, Shahjehanabad, Misrod, Jahangirabad, Crime Branch, Habibganj, Hanumanganj, Koh-e-Fiza etc.
He is also having cases in police stations of Raisen district including Obedullaganj, Sultanpur and Umraoganj, Hanumanganj police has declared cash reward of Rs 20,000 on him in cases filed under sections 420, 467, 468, 471 etc. Koh-e-Fiza police had declared cash reward of Rs 10,000 on his arrest in connection with case filed under section 420, 467, 468, 210 B etc.
