Biker killed, wife seriously injured as car hits motorcycle at village Kauliwada

A bike rider was killed and his wife was seriously injured when their bike was hit by a speeding car at village Kauliwada, 7 km away from Waraseoni. Even the car driver was seriously injured. Local villagers rushed both injured persons to Government Hospital, Waraseoni. But they were later refered to district hospital, Balaghat. As per the information, village Sawri resident Narendra Shobhala Banote (45) was posted at high school at village Sawri. His wife Pramila Banote (40) is working as Assistant Teacher in Government Primary School at village Khairi. The couple has two children aged 10 and 7 years respectively. Due to studies of their children, the couple were staying at Waraseoni in ward no 3. They used to go to their schools on their bike daily from Waraseoni.
 
On Thursday morning Narendra Banote and his wife Pramila were going to village Khairi from Waraseoni on the motorcycle bearing no MP 50 MN 6269 at around 10 am. When they reached Kauliwada at the same time a bike overtook a car bearing no CG 4 LF9989. The car driver Ashish Lilhare lost control in a bid to save the bike and his car hit the bike of Narendra Banote. The car hit the bike and jumped off the road and stalled at the road side field.
 
After being hit by the car, Banote couple were thrown away and Narendra Banote died on-spot while his wife was seriously injured. The car driver Ashish also sustained critical injuries as steering hit his chest. The villagers of Kauliwada rushed to help the injured. Meanwhile they took out the injured car driver and lifted the injured couple. They also called local doctor, who after examining Narendra Banote, declared him dead. After the ambulance reached the spot, immediate oxygen support was given to critical injured car driver Ashish. The injured Pramila Banote, car driver were brought to Waraseoni but looking into their condition, doctors referred them to District hospital, Balaghat.
