52 labourers stuck in Solapur brought back to Katni safely

Collector Priyank Mishra, Bahoriband SDM Rohit Sisonia, Tikamgarh SDM Saurabh Sonwane, SP Tejashwi Satpote in Solapur and their team played a crucial role in safe return of 52 labourers
 
 
With the help of Solapur district administration and Solapur police, 52 labourers were successfully released in Solapur, Maharashtra. Late on Friday night, the labourers were brought safely back to Sleemanabad. According to information, villagers of Dhanwahi village of Bahoriband tehsil came and lodged a complaint about the labourers stuck and were harassed in Solapur. As soon as Collector Priyank Mishra came to know about the case, he immediately instructed Bahoriband SDM Rohit Sisonia to investigate the matter and provide information.
 
SDM Sisonia collected information about the bonded labourers. SDM Rohit Sisonia personally spoke to the labourers and took complete information. It was confirmed that the labourers were taken to a place called Kandal village in Solapur district. The labourers were harassed with heavy work load and paid meagerly. As soon as the complaint was confirmed, Collector Mishra and SDM Sisonia contacted officers of Maharashtra. After continuous follow-up and complete support by SDM Saurabh Sonwane posted in Tikamgarh district.
 
Sonwane spoke to Superintendent of Police Tejashwi Satpote posted in Solapur district of Maharashtra and narrated him the entire incident and issue of the labourers. Superintendent of Police Tejashwi Satpote took the matter seriously and formed a special team on January 5 and swung into action. After that, within 24 hours, on January 6, team guerrilla took 52 labourers in their custody. Soon they were all taken to police station. On January 7 morning, the labourers, who were taken in a special vehicle by SP Tejashwi Satpote, were sent to Nagpur from Solapur and then to Katni, their home district.
 
Collector Priyank Mishra arranged the conveyance and brought them to their village Dhanwahi, Karipathar, Bandhi station safely from Nagpur. Collector Mishra informed that Superintendent of Police, Solapur, Tejaswi Satpote, Inspector of Maharashtra Police, Nitin Thete and SDM Tikamgarh, Saurabh Sonwane supported immensely in the entire operation. Taking the matter seriously, he worked from a humane point of view, rising above his official responsibilities, which has enabled successful return of all the labourers safely. Collector Mishra also thanked the district administration on behalf of all members involved in the operation.
