English is a global language and everyone should learn it, says CM
 
 
Calling upon the children to learn English, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said that having multi-lingual knowledge is always beneficial for the students. He added that English is a global language and everyone should learn it. Addressing the students at Swami Atmanand English Medium School in Singoditarai in Narayanpur district, the Chief Minister said that the present era is a competition era where there is competition in every field and is applicable in academics as well. Accordingly, the knowledge of as many languages as possible will ascertain our success. He said initiating English medium schools in district head-quarters is a major step towards achieving the target and to provide equal opportunities to the students from rural areas.
 
The Chief Minister said that now-a-days providing education in private English medium schools is very difficult for parents as it is gradually becoming expensive. Also providing smooth education to children for parents in transferable jobs becomes difficult. Keeping all these reasons in view the State Government has decided to start government English medium schools in every district head-quarters. Keeping up with its demands and utility, now the state government has decided to establish similar schools in development blocks as well.
 
Accordingly, in coming years the state government will be establishing 100 English medium schools in block head-quarters also. He said English is a global language and is the principle language used in holding talks between different countries. Hence knowledge of English is necessary for everyone. Also knowledge of English has its own significance in getting employment and operating in the tourism sector. The Chief Minister said that student life is the best time for learning and urged them to think and understand while carrying out the learning process. He also asked them to generate queries while learning. On the occasion he also informed about the contribution made by Swami Atmanand in the field of education which is worth inspirational. On his reaching the Swami Atmanand English Medium School, Principal, teachers and students gave him a rousing welcome. Present on the occasion were PHE Minister Guru Rudra Kumar, Revenue Minister Jaisingh Agrawal, Excise Minister Kawasi Lakhma, MP Deepak Baij, MP Phulodevi Netam, Narayanpur MLA Chandan Kashyap, Antagarh MLA Anup Nag, Collector Dharmesh Sahu and other senior officials.
