Jabalpur Boys won a match while a match between Yuva Club and Himalayan Club ended in a draw in the ongoing Ramesh Choukse memorial Senior Division Club League Football Tournament, on Sunday. The tournament is being played under the auspices of Jabalpur District Football Association at Shivaji Ground, Sadar. The first match was played between Jabalpur Boys and Civil Line Club teams. The match witnessed remarkable performance of players of Jabalpur Boys who registered 4 – 1 victory over the opponent.

 

Jabalpur Boys’ Krishna Kumar Das netted two goals while Manish and Gagan Pal Singh scored single goal each and brought victory for their team. Gaurav netted single goal for Civil Line Club. The second match was played between Yuva Club and Himalayan Club teams.

 

The exciting match ended in a draw with 1 goal each and both the teams got single game point. Saurabh scored a goal for Yuva Club in the 20th minute of the game while the game was equalized for Himalayan Club with a goal of Ajay Raghuvanshi in 65th minute. Till the last minutes of the game, strikers of both the teams worked hard but failed in scoring lead goal. Referees of the games were Sahil, Hari Rajak, Chandra Malik, Mubin Khan, John Bosco, Uttam Kumar and Lakhan Rajak.
