With good placement records, accreditation of National Board of Accreditation for five programmes, having National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) status, the KDK College of Engineering (KDKCE), Nagpur is marching ahead. It is carrying the tradition of imparting good quality education since 1984. Apart from approval from AICTE, Director of Technical Education, Maharashtra and affiliated to Rashtrsant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur. The Government of Maharashtra has conferred ‘A’ Grade.
 
The college runs six Under Graduate B.E. courses Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication, Information Tech and three Post Graduate courses in Structural Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering Design and Master of Business Administration with total Intake capacity of 666. Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering departments have been recongnised as a place for research leading to PhD. Previous year, an entire array of industries were represented on campus for the campus placement, in the sectors such as Engineering to IT, Analytics to Consulting. For 2020 batch, 65 companies with 378 job offers were given with the highest package of Rs 12 lakh per annum. Some top MNCs also included job providers like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Bajaj Electricals, etc. With more than 35 PhD holders, faculties are front runners in the University arena in drafting of syllabii, setting and evaluations question papers, members of university statutary bodies etc. Various sanctioned quality improvement schemes like RPS, MODROB, FDP from AICTE, live project from GIZ Germany have enabled college in improvement of academic infrastructure.
