An exhibition is organised at Central Railway's Divisional Store Depot at Nagpur Railway Station campus to display various products used over railways. Several new products are short in supply and through the expo the railway administration is seeking to reach out to new suppliers. Jay Singh, Additional Divisional Railway Manager (ADRM) inaugurated the exhibition at the Divisional Store Depot, adjacent to Parcel Office on Santra Market side of railway station earlier on Tuesday.

 

The exhibition will continue for a month as railway wants to ensure maximum manufacturers and suppliers visit it and take advantage. Railway Design and Standards Organisation (RDSO) has organised the exhibition on behalf of CR's Nagpur Division to display the products produced by the authorised vendors and promote the new products used in the railways.

 

D N Shenoy, Deputy Chief Materials Manager (Headquarters) and Rajiv Singh, Sr. DMM, Nagpur Division, were present. Today more than 36 vendors participated in this exhibition. Any vendor can participate in the exhibition on any day except Sunday. Information was given about the performance of various railway equipment. Those who are not yet enough sellers, if any help is needed to become an authorised seller, guidance would be provided by the railway officials. All the vendors are requested to join this exhibition and benefit themselves, said an railway release.
