Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that work of corona vaccination in State will start from 9 am on January 16. This will be the world’s largest vaccination campaign. “I congratulate Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He is a visionary. He had already identified the crisis. Prime Minister had formed a task force as soon as corona pandemic came into picture. He made all the arrangements and made efforts protect people from the virus,” he said. Chouhan was holding discussions with Collectors and Commissioners regarding COVID-19 vaccination after inaugurating the NHM building on Thursday.
 
He informed that districts have been given necessary instructions for campaign starting from January 16. The safety of the vaccine has been confirmed by the Central Government. Each citizen will be administered two doses. After the first dose, the second dose will be given after 28 days. Anti-bodies will be created in the human body 14 days after vaccination. There is no immediate effect after vaccination. Vaccine has been allocated district-wise in the State. Necessary arrangements have been made to receive complaints and suggestions.
 
Along with Government hospitals, private hospitals have also been identified for vaccination.On this occasion, he saluted all those warriors who worked to save the lives of others in times of crisis and were engaged in service. He said that protocol for vaccination has been fixed. The vaccine will be administered as per sequence. These include frontline workers such as police personnel, revenue staff as they also need to be safe first. Vaccines will be applied in the same order in which the registration for vaccination took place. No recommendation will be allowed in the ‘mahabhiyan’ on who has to be vaccinated first.He also called upon all religious leaders, district administration to inform public about vaccinations on priority basis. The two vaccines are the same. The instructions for storage, transportation should be followed.
