Two-day camp for street vendors has been started in city. This camp will help to facilitate registration and other facilitation of street vendors will be held at Royal Market, DIG Bungalow, Bal Vihar Maidan, Ashoka Garden, Hawkers corner, Anand Nagar Tiraha, Banjari Dussehra Maidan, Baghsewaniya near Ganesh Mandir, 11 Meel Road and behind Banhpur bridge.
 
The Bhopal Municipal Corporation employees and volunteers will help street vendors to fill the registration and all other formalities with the bank. In order to get benefits under the Pradhan Mantri Swanidhi Yojana in the city, these camps are organised to help the beneficiaries who are facing a lot of trouble. The camps are also helping to resolve complaints which are being received daily with the municipal administration. Municipal Commissioner KVS Chaudhary has issued a directive to solve the problem of the beneficiaries in these camps. In fact, the corporation commissioner has directed all the zonal officers and ward in-charge that the municipal corporation should also work to reach the concerned bank branches to the beneficiary street vendors for availing loans sanctioned by the banks under the Pradhan Mantri Swanidhi Yojana so that the loan can be disbursed. Apart from this, the corporation has also directed to set up co-operation centres to solve the problems of street vendors under Pradhan Mantri Swanidhi Yojana. Officials of the Bhopal Municipal Corporation informed that work is being done under the Pradhan Mantri Swanidhi Yojana to provide loans of 10 thousand rupees without interest to the street vendors for co-operation in the business. Recently, the Municipal Corporation had also launched a campaign at the ward level to connect more and more street vendors to the scheme. In which the Municipal Corporation Bhopal also got a lot of success.
