Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Nitin Gadkari inaugurated new building of Bharat Vyayam Shala (Gymnasium) at Chitnis Park. Speaking on the occasion, Gadkari said to give a boost to sports in the city and produce sportspersons of international standard, government has made available funds to develop 60 grounds of the city.

 

On the occasion, Mayor Dayashankar Tiwari, MLAs Vikas Kumbhare, Pravin Datke, President of Gymnasium Jadhav, former mayor Archana Dehankar and others were present. Gadkari also informed that around Rs 125 crore has been sanctioned for proposed sports academy in East and Central Nagpur which will help produce talented sportspersons. The programme was attended by large number of citizens.
