Minister of State for Horticulture and Food Processing (Independent Charge) and Narmada Valley Development Bharat Singh Kushwah has said that to double income of farmers, Horticulture Department has prepared a road map. He was addressing farmers in Begat village of Gwalior district on Sunday.
 
He also heard problems of villages by holding ‘Chaupal’ in villages Behat, Mada, Dangiapura etc. he assured that problems shared by villagers will be solved in phase-wise manner. On the occasion, he advised farmers that they should also get connected with horticulture and to embrace food processing as well.
 
He told that State Government give grant on horticulture and food processing. He asked farmers to go for modern farming techniques along with traditional crops. He said that farmers need to come forward in horticulture as well and they have to accept horticulture crop like cash crops.
