Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that ‘Kevadia’ is realising vision of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, who is responsible for unification of India and who gave India the mantra of ‘Ek Bharat-Shreshtha Bharat’. It is presenting a beautiful picture of ‘Ek Bharat-Shreshtha Bharat’. This is probably for first time in history of Railways that so many trains are being started from different corners of the country for one destination simultaneously. It is also realising the mission of Indian Railways that is uniting India.
 
“Today, a new chapter of unity integrity of country has been written here. A miniature India will appear in Kevadia,” said PM. Prime Minister Narendra Modi was launching ‘Dabhoi-Chandod Aman’ converted broad gauge rail line, Chandod-Kevadia new broad gauge rail line, Pratapnagar-Kevadia newly-electrified rail section and new station buildings of Dabhoi Junction, Chandod and Kevadia through video conferencing on Sunday.
 
Along with this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan flagged off (virtually), Varanasi Junction-Kevadia Express, Dadar-Kevadia Express, Ahmedabad-Kevadia Jan Shatabdi Express, Hazrat Nizamuddin-Kevadia Express, Rewa-Kevadia Express, Chennai-Kevadia Express, Pratapnagar-Kevadia Memu and Kevadia-Pratapnagar Memu trains. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said in connection with project that world famous statue of Iron Man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, who united India in Kevadia, Statue of Unity has been established. Lakhs of devotees and tourists visit here. It has become not only a tourist place but also a place of inspiration, which is inspiring us for unity and integrity of the country. Direct rail connectivity from Rewa in state will provide special facility to the people of Vindhya region to visit Kevadia.
 
“For this I congratulate and thank the Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” he told. Union Foreign Minister Dr Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, Chief Ministers of Gujarat, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh and Delhi, Rewa MP Janardan Mishra, MP Rajamani Patel, MLA Rewa Rajendra Shukla etc were present in the video conferencing. Additional Chief Secretary (Home) S N Mishra, DRM Uday Borwankar, Principal Secretary Manish Rastogi etc were present in the video conference at CM House.
