Again showing his love and respect to the sports, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel extended heartfelt congratulations to Indian cricket team that clinched the four-match Test Series down under by 2-1 by winning the last Test at The Gabba. The series called Border-Gavaskar Trophy had levelled 1-1 after the third test. However, Indian team without its frontline bowlers such as Shami, Umesh Yadav, Ravichandran Ashwini, all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja and captain Virat Kohli defeated Kangaroos on their own soil to retain the trophy.

 

Like crores of fans in India and outside, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, who has already earned the praise of international sports icons like VVS Laxman and Anil Kumble, could not resist himself from praising the young Indian team. In his twitter account, the Chief Minister wrote in Chhattisgarhi, ‘Hamar Laika Man Australia Main Tiranga Fahra Din. Jab Jan Tiranga Upar Koti JatheTab Tab Man Garab Se Bhar Jathe.’ It is to be mentioned, the Chief Minister is at present on Assam trip.
