Satna, Prism, Johnson Limited (PJL) is imparting training to 125 females under Skill Development Programme under its Corporate Social Responsibility. Last year, over 200 women were trained and they have received work also. PJL has launched Skill Development Programme at Hinoti and Malgaon village panchayat with an aim to make ladies self reliant. Under this drive, training is being imparted with help of National Rural Livelihood Mission, Rampur Baghelan block to ladies on stitching, embroidery, bag making, making 'baati' of cotton, making 'agarbatti'.

 

This training programme is being organised under direction of M.P Tripathi, Senior Vice President (HRM, Admin, CSR and Corporate Affairs), PJL. Senior Manager, CSR and PR Devendra Mishra informed that the ladies which were trained already by PJL had received order from government of stitching 40,000 school uniform and with this order each of the lady is receiving Rs 5,000 to Rs 8,000 per month , More ladies of the village were inspired to seek training and hence 125 ladies this time from village Hinoti and Malgaon are seeking training.

 

50 are learning stitching, embroidery, 25 making of agarbatti, 25 making of cotton 'bati', 25 in bag making. . PJL is also imparting training to unemployed youth on driving . after completion of training, driving license is also prepared and then these trained youths are getting job of Rs 6,000 to Rs 8,000. Many ladies were given training on beautician and then many have received job where they are getting monthly Rs 5,000 to Rs 6,000. thus ladies of the area becoming self reliant.
