Sahil shines in Sportian Nagpur’s win

SAHIL Shende slammed three goals as Sportian Nagpur Football Club defeated Deputy Director of Sports and Youth Services (DDSYS) in the Weekend Sportians Super League under way at Swavlambi Nagar. The Under-12 five-a-side soccer competition, which is being held every Sunday, will be played on home and away format. Each team will be entitled to play a minimum of 10 matches. Shende slammed goals in 3rd, 4th and 15th minutes as Sportians Nagpur recorded a 4-2 win.
 
The other goal was scored by Ram Rathod in 7th minute. For DDSYS, Neel Maghade (1st) and Md Ibrahim (17th) were the scorers. In another match, Nobel Tigers thrashed Sportian Thunders 6-3. Abhimanyu Bhodan was on the target from the world go as he shook the net in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 16th and 19th minutes. Dhruv Roy added one in 11th minute.
 
For Sportian Thunders, Swami Wazalwar (6th), Arnav (12th)_ and Arjun (15th) were the goal getters. Nobels Sports Academy rode on goals from (Arnav Ghate (8th), Venkatesh Jadhav (17th, 19th) to beat EFC Blasters 3-0 while DDSYS got the better of Sportians Thunders 6-0. Neel Maghade (1st), Saket Gajbhiye (18th), Aman Baheti (9th), Md Ibrahim (2nd, 9th, 19th) were the scorers. Nobel Tigers’ Anshul (4th), Abhimanyu Bhojan (13th), Adeeb Wasnik (16th) scored goals as they beat Nobel Sports Academy 3-1. Rushikesh Kukadkar (9th) scored the lone goal from the losing side.
