Falcon Club and Ridge Club teams won their matches in the ongoing Junior Division Club League Football Tournament, on Saturday. The tournament is being played under the auspices of Jabalpur District Football Association at Shivaji Ground, Sadar. First match of the day was played between Falcon Club and Vishal Club teams. In the exciting match, Falcon Club registered victory over the opponent by the lead of 2- 1 goals.

 

Earlier, first half of the game witnessed complete dominance of defenders who thrashed all the goal oriented attempts of strikers and first half ended with goalless scoreboard. In the second half, Vishal Club’s star forward Akash netted first goal in 55th minute. Thereafter, Falcon Club’s outstanding forwards Handrik and Derik netted consecutive goals in 60th and 70th minutes of the game and brought victory for their team. The second match was played between Ridge Club and Eaglets Club teams. In the one-sided match, Ridge Club registered victory over the opponent by the lead of 2–0 goals. Kunal Swamy netted two goals and brought victory for Ridge Club. Referees of the matches were Roshan Pathak, Shivam, John Bosco, Chandra Malik, Hari Rajak, Mubin Khan and Lakhan Rajak.
