Govt land worth Rs 30 crore freed in JMC’s biggest ever drive

A Combined team of Jabalpur police, district administration and Jabalpur Municipal Corporation has freed around 37,000 square feet Government land worth about Rs 30 crore from eight scrap dealers and others in Panagar and Adhartal areas on Saturday. It is the ever biggest anti-encroachment campaign in the history of Jabalpur. The team vacated 9,000 sq ft Government land of Rs 20.10 crore by demolishing 14 shops of Nazar Ali, 3,500 sq ft land by destroying 26 shops of Ramzan Marble, 2,000 sq ft land by demolishing a shop and godown of Naseem Kabadi, 14,800 sq ft land by razing base plinth of construction by Deepak Yadav, 1,000 sq ft land by demolishing boundary wall of Shanu Ruiwala and 1,000 sq ft land by demolishing gate of Aman Nagar of Kadir Soni.
 
The rigorous campaign has been started under the direction of Madhya Pradesh Government against land mafia, black marketing of ration, chit-fund companies and money launders. Under the direction of District Magistrate and Collector, Karmveer Sharma (IAS) and Superintendent of Police, Siddharth Bahuguna (IPS), combine team of Police, Administration and JMC continuing the campaign. In order to avoid any kind of protest, additional police deployment was made while Additional SP (North), Agam Jain (IPS), SDM, Namah Shivay Arjaria, SDM, Rishabh Jain, CSP, Rohit Kashwani (IPS), CSP, Adhartal, Ashok Tiwari, CSP, Gorakhpur, Alok Sharma, CSP, Ranjhi, Mohammed Israr Mansuri, DSP (Traffic), Madhukar Chowkikar, Tehsildar Rajesh Singh, Tehsildar, Neeta Kori, SHO of Adhartal, Madhotal, Panagar, Kotwali, Khamaria, Gora Bazar, Barela, 2IC, Gohalpur, along with police force and Reserve Inspector, Saurabh Tiwari and JMC Anti-encroachment squad in-charge, Sagar Borkar were on the spot.
