A joint team of police, Bhopal Municipal Corporation and local administration demolished the illegally built three-storey house of a hooligan in Hanumanganj area on Saturday. Huge police force was deployed during the house demolition exercise. Police said that notorious criminal Ahmad Shah alias Babi, basically hailing from Itawa in Uttar Pradesh, had illegally constructed a sprawling and lavish house near Laxmi Talkies area in Jumerati. Ahmad Shah is having total 34 criminal cases against him.

 

Apart from Bhopal, he is having cases in GRP Bhopal and Chhindwara. He is having cases of burglary, extortion and theft. He had illegally constructed three storey house (valued approximately Rs 2 crore) near Laxmi Talkies area. It was razed down in joint action of police, BMC and administration. Local people praised the exercise. In the meantime, to avoid any untoward incident, armed police personnel were deployed during house demolition exercise.

 

The house was demolished with the help of JCB and hammers. State Government is undertaking house demolition action against notorious criminals across the State. Such kind of action has been previously taken in different part of Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain, Jabalpur etc.
