Rates of vegetables decline, people heave a sigh of relief

The cold season has brought down the rates of all kind of vegetables. Now, low rates of vegetables have provided much needed breather to common people who earlier were sometime back purchasing vegetables at higher prices. As of now, rates of any kind of vegetable is almost below Rs 40 per kg. The peas are being sold, in retail, at Rs 30 per kg. The rates of good quality tomatoes are Rs 20 per kg. Carrots are being sold at Rs 20 to 30 per kg. Potatoes rates are also under control and they are being sold at Rs 30 to 40 per kg in retail market.
 
Onion, which one crossed the mark of Rs 100 per kg, is available in market at the rate of Rs 30 kg to 40 per kg. The reasonable rates of vegetables have provided much succor to middle class and poor families. Earlier, almost a month back, they were purchasing vegetables at soared prices.
 
The green vegetable rates were not less than Rs 60 per kg and some green vegetable rates have even reached to ever time high rates. For instance lady finger was sold at Rs 80 per kg. Now, the rates of green vegetables have gone downwards to provide cushion from inflation to people. What is good thing that people are getting fresh green vegetables that also in abundant manner.
