Schemes beneficial for farmers to be implemented: Kushwah

Minister of State for Horticulture, Food Processing (Independent Charge) Bharat Singh Kushwah told that horticulture department will implement schemes to help farmers in growing crops giving more production, to make farmers to go for sowing of crop thrice in a year, storage of crop production etc. Apart from helping farmers through the medium of schemes, department will also ensure training for them.
 
Bharat Singh Kushwaha was addressing Farmer Training Programme in Berasia Tehsil of Bhopal district on Sunday. He told that chain fencing scheme is being prepared so that farmers, along with crops sown before monsoon and after monsoon, can also produce vegetable crops. He told that for horticulture crop, storage facility will be also provided to farmers. Such a scheme is being prepared that farmers can have cold storage of 5 Metric Tonne capacity at their own farm lands. Agriculture specialists gave information about horticulture crop production to farmers.
