‘Bhopal railway working for campus beautification, staff welfare’

Bhopal railway is working for clean, green and beautiful campus along with water conservation and welfare of female staff under guidance of Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Uday Borwanker. Recently,, a health check up camp was held to treat the eye and teeth treated problem of railway employees at Sub Divisional railway Hospital in Bina. Large numbers of patients were treated in the camp. Few camps were also held at Bina and Guna stations to solve the grievance of employees and pending complaints of pensioners.
 
Improving the water supply in Dulariya, water tanks were replaced with two PVC tanks with capacity of 5000 water and checkered plates were also changed to save them from oxidization. An open gym has been set up at 12 Bunglow Running room in Itarsi for health status of employees. A medicinal park has been also developed in Itarsi named as “Sanjivani Park”. Continuing its beautification drive, Bhopal railway has also revamped the Bhopal railway station with traditional wall painting, plants and cleanliness. Railway is making efforts to make passengers train travel experience better and even memorable with pleasant environment around the station premises. Railway officials said that plantation drive has been started at all vacant areas of station.
 
Motivational slogans and folk paintings have been displayed on walls with cleanliness. Talking to “The Hitavada”, railway officials said, apart from beautification, trains are also being revamped with bio-toilets and LHB coaches. They said railway is focusing on comfortable and safer journey to the passengers. However, passenger trains are yet to be started due to the pandemic, but all trains under Bhopal railway division are equipped with bio toilets. Sanitation staff is strictly directed to ensure cleanliness in coaches and station premises.
