Medical Education Minister Vishwas Kailash Sarang has issued instructions to remove building called Purana Hawa Mahal located in Hamidia Hospital Complex. This will help expand Block A of Hamidia Hospital. Also about 70 additional beds will be available. Apart from this, facilities of traffic in campus will be expanded. He has said that strict attitude should be adopted to remove any kind of obstructions.
 
An FIR should be registered against the obstructor. Sarang said that 2000-bedded well-equipped hospital of State will become pride of Bhopal. He instructed that construction work of Block-B should be completed by March. He instructed to make garments used in hospitals like operation gown etc. Through self help group. He told to maintain records in the Medical Record Office through electronic health records. Sarang instructed to start a helpline number for Hamidia Hospital for the convenience of patients. Attendants/family members of patient will be able to get round clock information about patient’s condition through this helpline.
 
He also looked into status of the CM Helpline cases. He instructed to put pictures of the President, Prime Minister and Chief Minister at the Superintendent’s office. He also told to remove unused notice boards. Expressing displeasure over cleanliness, Minister Sarang instructed to withhold the payment of the agency for two months.
