CM discusses roadmap of State’s development with Cabinet colleagues

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan held a detailed discussion on the development of State with Cabinet members at Kolar Forest Rest House in Bhopal on Tuesday. He said that welfare works done for citizens of State should be such that after one year Madhya Pradesh gets compliment for it. He instructed to do good work by doing department-wise exercises for the creation of Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh. He said that in last nine to ten months, several important steps have been taken to upgrade development and change scenario of State. General public has also given a supportive reaction to various works of State Government.
 
A positive message has been sent through action being taken against Mafia and concerted efforts being made to save youth from drug addiction. He said that when Government was formed in last week of March, big challenge of corona pandemic prevailed. The work of saving the citizens was done promptly. Effective steps were taken. With control of virus, first roadmap for Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh was created.
He said that process of brainstorming started as soon as Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke about Atmanirbhar Bharat. Concrete initiative was taken for Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh. All ministers, economists, NITI Aayog officials and senior administrative officials brainstormed and prepared the Madhya Pradesh road map. The efforts bore fruits. Madhya Pradesh was the first to have created the road map. He said that road map specifies work on issues of economy, employment, good governance, health and education in detail.
