MANDAR and Rajendra Uttelwar, Sachchidanand Nagar and Smita Shashikant Pathak of Ulhas Nagar were the winners of Fort-Making Contest and Rangoli Contest respectively conducted by Vidarbha Award Winners Welfare Association (VAWWA). The prize distribution function was held on Sunday on the occasion of Savitribai Phule Jayanti and 20th foundation day of the sanstha. MLC Adv Abhijit Wanjari, the chief guest, gave away the awards.

 

The otherwinners of Fort-Making Contest include Mangesh Barsagade, Sharda Chowk (Second Prize); SanviPravinJanai,LadikarLayout(Third Prize) Ahan Amol Gayaki, Ulhas Nagar and Om Khadatkar, Khankhoje Nagar(consolationprizes).The other winners of Rangoli contest include Sarla Ramesh Shende, Ulhas Nagar (second Prize); Dr Jaymala Chandrashekhar Dumare, Ulhas Nagar(third prize); Neha Vijay Selokar,Nandanvan; Smruddhi Janbandhu, Vaishali Nagar (consolation prizes). The programme was started after garlanding the portrait of Savitribai Phule, Suresh Rewatkar, made introductory remarks. Anil Lonare conducted the proceedings and Pramila Raut declared the winners.
