Kamal Nath addresses tribal Congress leaders, attacks BJP

Former Chief Minister and Madhya Pradesh Congress President Kamal Nath addressed gathering of tribal Congress leaders at his residence in State Capital on Wednesday. He alleged that BJP is trying to divide tribals by taking help of some non political organisations. Mincing no words in making scathing attack on BJP, he told that BJP had done work of dividing tribals as well. Reckoning works of previous Congress government, he told that many works were done for tribals and took many big decisions for their welfare.
 
He said that it is known for every one that successive Congress governments made many laws and schemes for tribal welfare. He said that Congress party will shortly formulate work plan that what could be done more in future for tribals. He appealed tribals to inform Congress party of any kind of atrocities they suffer in BJP regime so that Congress can protest any such incidents. He also apprised tribal about farmer movement and three controversial farm laws. Tribal leaders told that Congress has been from starting in favour of tribal welfare.
 
Former Congress governments took decisions for tribal welfare. This is the reason that in Assembly elections, results of 31 tribal seats out of 47 tribal seats went in favour of Congress. Meeting was attended by tribal leader and MLA Kantilal Bhuria, former minister Bala Bachchan, Hani Bhagel, Omkar Markam, former Member of Parliament Gajendra Singh Rajukhedi and other tribal leaders.
