Preparations for vaccination complete in all 52 distts, asserts Dr Chaudhary

Health Minister Dr Prabhuram Chaudhary informed that all necessary arrangements have been made at all vaccination centres proposed for Covid vaccine in the State keeping in mind Covid-19 protocol
 
 
Public Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr Prabhuram Chaudhary informed Union Health Minister Dr Harshvardhan that preparations for corona vaccination have been completed in all 52 districts of the State under constant supervision of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. Dr Chaudhary was participating in a virtual meeting on national dry run preparations on Thursday through video-conferencing. He said that ‘CoWIN’ platform designed for vaccination is very good.
 
Health Minister Dr Chaudhary informed that after successful rehearsal of preparations for Covid-19 vaccination in the State, Bhopal is now going to conduct a dry run on January 8 in all the remaining 51 districts of the State. He informed that cold chain stores have been prepared in 4 places in the State at Bhopal, Jabalpur, Gwalior and Indore. First, these stores will be stocked with approved vaccines. From here, vaccine will be sent to divisions, followed by districts and PHC cold chain stores. From here vaccine will be delivered directly to vaccination centre, where pre-registered persons will be vaccinated.
 
All health workers will be vaccinated in the first phase. Number of such health workers in the State is 4 lakh. They are registered on CoWIN platform. Health worker will be informed about the day and time of vaccination through the CoWIN platform on his registered mobile number through SMS. Health Minister Dr Chaudhary informed that necessary arrangements have been made at all vaccination centres proposed for Covid vaccine in the State keeping in mind Covid-19 protocol. Health Minister Dr Prabhuram Chaudhary also congratulated officers and employees of the Health Department for ensuring timely arrangements.
