Dry run for vaccination roll-out conducted in city too

The dry run for the COVID-19 vaccination roll-out was conducted in selected hospitals in the city on Friday morning. The dry run was carried out to understand the best way to administer the vaccine and plug loopholes in logistics and training.
 
It was conducted at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Medical College and Hospital, Government Seth Govinddas District Hospital and Metro Hospital.
 
District Collector Karmveer Sharma visited the District Hospital to oversee preparations and review the mock drill of the Covid-19 vaccination.
 
During the Collector’s visit at the District Hospital, Chief Medical and Health Officer, Dr. Ratnesh Kurariya, Civil Surgeon, Dr C B Arora and District Immunisation Officer,Dr S S Dahiya were present. Similarly, Chief Executive Officer, Jila Panchayat and Additional Collector, Sandeep GR and Dean, Dr. Pradeep Kasar were present at Metro Hospital and NSCB Medical Hospital respectively during dry run. While interacting with the media, Collector Sharma said that the dry run or mock drill will help to learn more and ensure that the administration and concerned departments are prepared for the vaccination drive.
