A 30-YEAR-OLD man from city lost his life in a case of erotic asphyxia in a lodge in Khaperkheda area in the wee hours of Friday. The man, an unemployed engineer, was in relationship with a young married woman, working with a private firm, for the past five years.

 

The man and woman had booked a room at Maharaja Lodge on Thursday. According to police investigating the case, the couple had food and drinks in the room and later established physical relationship. While watching a pornographic video the couple decided to indulge in an erotic game to emulate the ‘kinky’ clip. The woman tied her boyfriend’s hands and legs to a chair with a Nylon rope. She allegedly used another rope as a ligature around his neck as shown in the video clip.

 

Police said, the woman, mother of a four-year-old child, went to the washroom after a while when she heard some noise in the room. She came back and discovered that the chair had tumbled with the youth still tied to it. The noose had tightened around his neck. The woman immediately cut the ropes and removed the noose from his neck but by that time the youth had died of asphyxiation.

 

When the woman shouted for help a room service boy came to her aid and assisted her in covering the body in a bed sheet. Soon after receiving information about the incident from lodge manager, Khaperkheda Police staff led by Senior Inspector P N Bhatkar visited the spot. Cops detained the woman for questioning and sent her boyfriend’s body for post-mortem. Police also recorded statements of waiters, lodge manager and room service boys and seized cellphones of the couple for probe.

 

During questioning, the woman narrated the entire incident and allegedly admitted to having physical relations with her boyfriend. She also allegedly confessed to making a porn video after watching films on social media. A police officer told ‘The Hitavada’ that a case of accidental death has been registered initially.
