New cases of coronavirus are coming down steadily in Madhya Pradesh. On Friday, State reported just 614 new cases, of them 168 were detected in Bhopal and 148 in Indore. Meanwhile, nine people succumbed to disease in various parts.

 

One person died due to corona in Bhopal, two in Indore, one each in Gwalior, Jabalpur, Barwani etc. With this, total fatalities due to corona in state stand at 3,691 so far. Overall deaths due to pandemic in Bhopal are 588. Indore has highest overall death cases at 902.

 

As far new cases in other districts are concerned then 11 new cases were found in Gwalior, 25 in Jabalpur, 20 in Sagar, 4 in Ratlam, 11 in Dhar, 13 in Hoshangabad, 9 in Satna, 4 in Morena, 1 in Neemuch, 4 in Shahdol, 6 in Dewas, 4 in Mandsaur, 2 in Sehore, 5 in Chhindwara, 9 in Jhabua etc.

 

At least 809 people got cured from the disease and returned to their homes in different districts. In Bhopal, 191 people got cured from pandemic. The number of active cases is less than cured people in state.

Total active cases in State are 8,324 and so far, 235421 people got cured. With this, cure rate of Madhya Pradesh is high and it is increasing gradually.

 

Even as corona cases are showing sharp decline but people are more conscious about their health. Most of the people are wearing the masks while going at public places. Moreover, people are enthusiastically waiting for start of vaccination process in state which will bring down corona cases far below.
