Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) Commissioner KVS Chaudhary inspected the Bhanpur Khanti area on Thursday. During the inspection, he directed to uproot and clean the unwanted plants near the Gumbadnuma mound, conduct plantation in the area to make it clean and green, water the plants and the trees, complete the boundary-wall construction works and get a board installed at the mound propagating the message “Welcome to Bhopal”. Commissioner Chaudhary cautioned to impose a penalty if the works are not completed within the stipulated time. During the inspection, Additional Commissioner MP Singh, Supervising engineer RK Saxena and other BMC officials were also present. Commissioner Chaudhary took stock of the ongoing works at the Bhanpur Khanti area on Thursday. He closely inspected the Gumbadnuma mound by climbing onto it and issued the aforesaid instruction post this. Adding to the instructions, he directed to equip the “Welcome to Bhopal” board with lights to make it visible even during the night. BMC bids farewell to retired employees Four employees of Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) completed their tenure to retire on September 30. The retired employees include steno-typist Vinod Kumar Giri, Abdul Raoof, labourer Girishdhar Dwivedi and Driver Abdul Khaleel. BMC Additional Commissioner KS Parihar and Deputy Commissioner CB Mishra honored the retired workers and presented them with shawls, fruits, sweets and citations.

 

The officials bid the retired employees a heartfelt farewell and wished their well-being in the future. President of employee welfare committee S Nazeer Ahmed, Secretary RPS Parihar, ML Raghuwanshi, Rajendra Kumar Saxena, Abdul Raqeeb, Jagdish and other officials as well as employees of the BMC were also present. Complete work of Garbage Transfer Station by Nov 30 Following blocked garbage transportation from Aadampur Chavni, Municipal Commissioner KVS Chaudhary took stock of dry and wet garbage being carried by garbage vehicles. He inspected the garbage transfer station underway at Rajendra Nagar. Post inspection, Commissioner Chaudhary directed to build a gate, ensure a provision for air washing, parking and puncture of garbage vehicles and construction of MRF for the smooth conduction of Rajendra Nagar garbage transfer station by November 30. Additional Commissioner MP Singh and other BMC officials were also present during the inspection. Chaudhary was informed that the wet and the dry garbage is being brought separately through trucks, dumpers and other garbage vehicles and then being sent to Aadampur Chaavni by means of Hook loader.
