With an objective to provide job-oriented courses to children of Madhya Pradesh Police families, a MoU was signed between Police ITI Bhopal and between Police ITI Bhopal and School of Broadcasting and Communication, (SBC) Mumbai. Special Director General of Police (Training) Aruna Mohan Rao and SBC Director Dr Tushir Choudhary signed the MoU. Children of police families can take admission in short-duration job-oriented courses such as Public Relations, Video Editing, Mobile Journalism, Podcasts, Reporting, Theater and Acting and more. SBC is affiliated to Makhanlal University, Bhopal. The signing of two MoUs with two reputed institutions within a week will surely help in building a bright future for the children of the police family. On the occasion, Aruna Mohan Rao said that we are trying to give a facelift to Police ITI.
 
This process may be slow but one can see the difference in the days to come. Today’s generation is interested in new courses and we are trying to give them the same platform. ITI Bhopal Principal and Additional Superintendent of Police Suman Gurjar said that apart from the traditional course, these new training courses will be helpful in providing employment opportunities to the children of police family. She said that the ITI campus has various facilities such as hostel, library, playground, gym, hospital/OPD, mess and scholarship are also available for the students. During the course, the students will be imparted training using the latest technology that will help them in getting jobs. Additional Director General of Police (Training) Anuradha Shankar, Assistant Inspector General of Police (Training) Maloy Jain, Nimisha Pandey, Irmeen Shah graced the occasion.
