Assembly Speaker to embark on 7-day cycle yatra

The Bicycle yatra of Speaker Girish Gautam will start from October 24 and will continue till October 31 
 
Madhya Pradesh Assembly Speaker Girish Gautam will embark on a seven day bicycle yatra to solve public problems of his Assembly constituency Dev Talab (Rewa). The Bicycle yatra of Speaker Girish Gautam will start from October 24 and will continue till October 31. Speaker will tour around 72 villages during his bicycle yatra which will be first of its kind taken out by any Assembly Speaker of State so far. During his bicycle yatra, Speaker will take feed back of central and State Government schemes and will try to promptly solve the public problems as far as possible. During cycle yatra, he will have night rest in that village where sunset will take during the yatra. Night rest arrangement will be made in at least seven villages during the yatra. Speaker said that main aim of his bicycle yatra is to take the information of Government schemes till masses.
 
Through the medium of bicycle yatra information of various Government schemes will be given to people so that they can take maximum benefit of public welfare schemes. Speaker informed that there will be no protocol during the yatra except the security arrangements. On conclusion of bicycle yatra, a big programme will be organized at Dev Talab Stadium in which Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will be also present. Thousands of people are expected to participate in concluding function of bicycle yatra. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had also previously participated in programmes organized to mark conclusion of cycle yatra (taken out by Girish Gautam in the form of MLA). The bicycle yatra of speaker will commence from Purva village. A time table has been prepared for bicycle yatra. A separate plan has been also prepared to ensure participation of local leaders during the yatra. During bicycle Yatra, Speaker will organise chaupal.
