The meeting of Chhath Mahaparva Ayojan Samiti (CMAS) Mahadev Ghat, Raipur was held under the chairmanship of President Rajesh Kumar Singh at Babylon Tower in Raipur recently. In the meeting, preparations regarding the Chhath Puja-2021 were discussed in detail. It was unanimously decided in the meeting to celebrate the Chhath festival with traditional fervour and enthusiasm in the state this year. Members of the CMAS have given various suggestions for the Chhath Puja celebrations.

 

President Rajesh Kumar Singh, Pramod Mishra, Ravindra Singh, Amit Singh, Parma Singh, Satyendra Gautam, Sanjay Singh, Anil Singh, Saroj Singh, Santosh Singh, Ajit Upadhyay and other members addressed the meeting. Sunil Singh has been unanimously appointed as the Convener of the Chhath Puja-2021. Two-minute silence was observed to pay tributes to late Vipin Singh in the meeting. Pandit Ranjit Maharaj, Kanhaiya Singh, Satyendra Singh Gautam, Mukund Shrivastava, Sanjay Singh, Jayant Singh and other members attended meeting. The 4-day Chhath Puja will begin from November 8.
