“Even after having plenty of natural resources and agricultural abundance, Mahakaushal region is yet to get its due advantage of industrial development. Unawareness and absence of representation amongst youngsters are some of the main causes behind the industrial backwardness of the region. With an aim to provide platform to young industrial brains, a help-desk is being inaugurated to facilitate the youngsters for entrepreneurship”, informed by Ravi Gupta, President of Mahakoshal Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) while addressing a press conference, on Tuesday. Ravi Gupta informed that the Central and State Governments are providing several benefits to encourage young entrepreneurs for desired industrial development while MCCI have always made efforts for overall industrial development in the region. It is commonly seen in the region that several youngsters who are interested to establish small or medium industries face trouble in obtaining facilities like land allotment, subsidy, support system, project designing, management, financial planning etc and failed in establishing industry.

 

Taking a serious note over the situation, MCCI are going to start a help desk in association with private firm for providing adequate guidance and resources to youngsters for setting-up their industrial units. MCCI, Secretary, Shankar Nagdeo informed about the need of creating a healthy environment to develop a mind-set of entrepreneurship amongst youngsters. Help-desk will not only solve all the queries of youngsters but also help them in establishing and operation of industrial units. Divisional Commissioner, B. Chandrashekhar and Collector, Karmveer Sharma will inaugurate the Help-Desk, on October 21. Help-desk will be operational from Monday to Friday, from 4 pm to 6 pm at MCCI Building.
