Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that ‘PM Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission’ will prove to be a milestone in the direction of strengthening the health infrastructure of primary, secondary and sub-health centres and existing national health institutions. Chief Minister Chouhan took part in the Prime Minister Modi’s programme through VC from Indore district. Chief Minister Chouhan has expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for initiating the ‘PM Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission’ to ensure availability of better medical facilities in urban and rural areas and for strengthening health services. Chief Minister Chouhan has said that with the expansion of health services through the ‘PM Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission’, simple, accessible and affordable health facilities will be available to the people.
 
It may be noted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched Rs 64,000 crore PM Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission on Monday. PM Modi said that the New India is where work should be done for fulfillment of every aspiration. The PM Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission is being launched to provide uniformity to health infrastructure of the entire country. Under this mission, health infrastructure of the entire country will be taken to a high level. Along with this, better health facilities will be provided to the people of all sections of the society. Prime Minister Modi said that with enhanced facilities in the field of health, seats of doctors and paramedical staff are also being increased in medical colleges. This scheme will not only improve the health infrastructure of the country but will also create new employment opportunities.
