Pre-conference of Renewable Energy Conclave held

Madhya Pradesh Vigyan Sammelan and Expo successfully organised pre-conference of Renewable Energy Conclave with the support of Vigyan Bharti and Madhya Pradesh Council of Science and Technology at Jabalpur Engineering College, on Tuesday. Professor Sunil Kumar Gupta, Vice-chancellor, Rajiv Gandhi Prodyogik Vishwavidyalay graced the programme as chief guest while Professor Anil Kothari, Director General, Madhya Pradesh Council of Science and Technology was the guest of honour. Programme Co-ordinator, Dr. Kamal Kushwaha informed that around 554 candidates registered themselves to participate in the programme, whereas four guest speakers were invited to deliver their talks.
 
During first session, Dr. Priyanbka Pallival, Professor, MANIT, Bhopal emphasized over the use of Smart Grid and related technology with the use of natural resources. Professor Sanjay Kumar Singh from IIT Indore discussed about Co2 emission and the use of H2 energy. Professor Sanjay Tiwari from Raipur focused on the use of renewable energy through Green Photonics. He said that the need of future can be fulfilled with the use of opto electronic devices through photon energy. Whereas, Dr. Chandrakumar Negi explained efficiency of solar cell and its issues. Dr. AK Sharma, Principal, Jabalpur Engineering College, told this conference will be a milestone for developing new technology to use renewable energy.
 
Dr. SK Mahobia, Co-coordinator told that Professor Ajay Kushwaha and Professor Santosh Vishwakarma from IIT Indore, contributed about the vision and mission of the sammelan. Dr. Kanchan Khare conducted the programme and also proposed vote of thanks. The members of technical committee who supported the programme to be conducted successfully from the control room included Sarvagya Mishra, Muskan Gupta, Sanjana Soni, Vrintika Singh and others.
