A day-long session on Women Security Legal Awareness programme was organised under the Bharat ka Amrit Women’s Rights. Manish Singh Thakur, Secretary District Legal Service Authority (DLSA) graced the occasion as chief guest. Maohotsava, in the guidance of Jawaharlal Nehru Krishi Vishwavidyalaya (JNKVV) Vice-Chancellor Dr Pradeep Kumar Bisen, in college campus on Tuesday regarding Deeksha Taneja, Judicial Magistrate was present as Special Guest.

 

Speaking on the occasion, Judicial Magistrate Deeksha Taneja said that women should speak up against the injustice meted to them. She said that till today many women are scared to file a case against the accused person. DLSA Secretary Manish Singh Thakur emphasised on creating awareness among women. Dr Sharad Tiwari, Dean Agriculture College, Dr Atul Shrivastava, Dean Agriculture Engineering College, Dr Amit Kumar Sharma, Dean Students Welfare, Dr B N Bajpai, Comptroller, Animka Vishwas and others laid emphasis on respecting women. Dr Anubha Upadhyaya proposed a vote of thanks.
