To ensure availability of quality fertilisers for farmers during Rabi season, the officers of Agriculture Department conducted surprise inspection at two fertiliser selling outlets at Sihora on Wednesday. The owner of one outlet was issued show cause notice for not maintaining the documents properly. The departmental team conducted surprise inspection at PK Krishi Kendra and Prakash Krishi Kendra following the instructions of Deputy Director, Farmer Welfare and Agriculture Development, Dr S K Nigam.

 

The team also collected samples of fertilisers and carried out physical verification of the available stock. Later on the officers issued show cause notice to the owner of PK Krishi Kendra for not maintaining the documents properly. The inspection was conducted under the leadership of Assistant Director, Agriculture, Amit Pandey and Senior Agriculture Development Officer, Sihora, J S Rathore.
