SCERT officials appreciate work done at Jharpara school during surprise check

State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) appreciated the educational environment and methods being adopted in the teaching process at Government Primary School, Jharpara (Pampapur) in Surajpur district. According information, Nitin Kumar Talokar, a senior officer in the SCERT, and others had paid surprise inspection of the school as part of an educational trip. Talokar also inspected the classes and examined the quality of teaching. During the studies in the school, teachers and children were found following Covid-19 protocols. The SCERT officers questioned the children about discipline, cleanliness, distribution of uniforms, distribution of textbooks, use of sports materials and cultural programmes and other facilities. He enquired from the cooks about the arrangement and resources of mid-day meal. After this, he gathered information about working of Piggy Bank in Jharpara School with the aim of explaining the banking system to the children and developing the habit of saving from childhood in them and praised teacher Gautam Sharma for this innovation.
 
The officials were very impressed with the arrangement, operation, attendance, cleanliness, teaching learning material, innovative activities etc. of the school. Appreciating the work of the school in-charge Principal Gautam Sharma and other teachers for the all-round development of the school, Talokar said that innovations are being used quite effectively in the Government Primary School, Jharpara. The children here are confident. Talokar was of the view that all the teachers are dedicated towards the children. The teachers here teach with modern technology through smart classes. Also the teachers here use new TLM in teaching. Among the innovations conducted in the school, the formation of the new youth Shaladoot committee, piggy bank, missed call guruji, educational innovation, making the students in charge of sanitizer to prevent corona, youth and eco club formation through the election process are prominent. During the inspection Jugeshwar Ram and Jitendra Sahu of District Education Office, teachers Rajendra Jaiswal, Rajesh Gupta, Anita Paikra, cook Aradhana Sahu and Bhagwatiya Sahu were present in the school.
