City’s Raut to lead West Zone team

NAGPUR’S international player Gurudas Raut will lead West Zone team in National Twenty20 Divyang Cricket Tournament to be held at Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh from November 18 to 21, informs Sanjay Bhoskar, Secretary, Maharashtra Cricket Association for Disabled (MCAD) and West Zone President through a press release. The four-day event is being organised by the Physically Challenged Cricket Association of India. Outstanding State cricketers from all over India have been selected on the basis of their performance in East, West, Central, North and South Zone teams. West Zone captain Raut will be assisted by Palghar’s Ravindra Patil as vice-captain. Under Raut’s captainship, West Zone have been seven times champions. After this tournament, India Red, Blue and Green teams will be selected for further tournament, the release adds.
