Training on maximum production of Ramtil held at JNAU

Two-day training programme on ‘Production and Preservation Technique for maximum production of Ramtil’ was organised at Jawaharlal Nehru Agriculture University (JNAU) under All India Oil Seed Research Co-ordinated Project (Til and Ramtil). The agriculture scientists and fertilisers and seeds vendors from Patan, Kundam, Panagar and Jabalpur block were trained during the programme.
 
The training programme was inaugurated by Senior Agriculture Scientist, Dr. ML Kewat who graced the programme as chief guest while Project Incharge, Dr. Rajni Disen presided over it. The experts shared about best technique for Ramtil production, it’s varieties and seed production technology, various weeds, diseases of Ramtil and it’s management. The trainee participants were taken to visit fields of Til and Ramtil, organic fertilizer unit and farmers’ field areas. Dr. Nisha Sapre anchored the programme while Dr K N Gupta proposed a vote of thanks. Those who rendered their contribution to make the programme successful included Dr K N Gupta, Dr Surabhi Jain and Roshni Sahu.
