NAGPUR’S doubles specialist badminton player Ritika Thaker and her Mumbai partner Simran Singhi have been given top seeding in women’s doubles in the upcoming Bahrain International Series to be held in Manama, Bahrain The five-day event will be held in from November 17-21. Ritika is also playing in the mixed doubles with Navneeth Bokka. The pair will have to go through the qualifying rounds.

 

This is the second tournament after the long COVID break. Ritika says she is happy to go for this tournament and will give her best. She has been practising with her partner Simran for the last couple of weeks at Suchitra Academy Hyderabad. Apart from that she is also honing her skill with her Nagpur coaches Ajay Dayal and Robin Simon.
