More than 30 thousand tribal brothers and sisters, who came to Bhopal to attend Birsa Munda Janjatiya Gaurav Mahasammelan from different districts, expressed happiness for the lodging arrangements made at 28 different places by Collector Avinash Lavania. They celebrated the event by dancing and singing. Collector Lavania said that two packets of sweets were given to each person as a return gift. Additional Collector Umrao Singh Maravi, who was in-charge of lodging, said that Poha, Jalebi, Samosa and other dishes were prepared for the breakfast of the tribal guests of the state capital. Many organisations joined hands for this event. Additional Collector Maravi said that he himself comes from the tribal community and he had tears in his eyes seeing such a good welcome.

 

Many tribal brothers told him that for the first time they had seen such a large program for the tribal society in the capital and such a large number of tribal community people had gathered. It is a proud moment for all of us. He thanked all the officers, employees, students, nodal officers of the district administration, school teachers and all employees of the Bhopal Municipal Corporation to make arrangements for the stay of the visitors, food, water, beds and all other arrangements, on behalf of the district-administration, and expressed heartfelt gratitude for their contribution.
