NCC cadets of St Aloysius College, under the guidance of 01 MP Battalion, NCC Ghantaghar, organised an awareness rally to spread the message of water conservation. The cadets involved in the rally told how water is priceless. If we are not timely aware and realise the seriousness, there will be a crisis in the future. Cadets shared views that precious heritage of nature is water. Rainfall has been decreasing, due to which this time there has been an outcry among people for drinking water in scorching heat.
 
There has been drought in many parts of the country and both humans and animals are losing their lives. Everyone has to understand that water is elixir of life. On the occasion, Commanding Officer Colonel Amit Gupta said that water crisis will be the biggest crisis in coming times. If we pay attention towards water conservation now only then we can get rid of water crisis. The rally was inaugurated by Commanding Officer of the unit, Colonel Amit Gupta and ADM Officer Lieutenant Colonel Sanjay Singh. A total of 108 cadets registered their presence in the rally. On the occasion, NCC officers Lieutenant Amit Yadav, Sergeant Vikas Kumar, Sergeant Rajendra Singh, Sergeant Ranjit Singh and NCC cadets of the college made special contribution and instrumental in organising the event. Rev Dr G Vazhan Arasu, Principal of St Aloysius College has always been pivotal in the grooming cadets towards social responsibility.
