As many as 20 players have been selected for the Senior National Women’s Football Competition to be held in Kozhikode in November 2021. The players would represent India Railways in the tournament. A training camp was organised under the aegis of Railway Sports Promotion Board for Indian Railways Women’s Football team at Railway Stadium, on Friday. Nearly 35 players, coaches and managers from different Railways participated in the camp. After selection trial, 20 players were selected for the Senior National Women’s Football Competition. Sudhir Kumar Gupta, GM WCR felicitated the Indian Railways Women’s Football team.

 

Shobhan Chouhdary ADM, Dr Rakesh Kumar Gupta, President WCRSA and PCEE, Dr Ashutosh Garg General Secretary WCRSA and ACMD, G S Chawla Treasurer WCRSA and FASCAO, Abhiram Khare Divisional Sports Officer, Madhu Yadav Senior Sports Officer and Railway officials were also present on the occasion and they extended best wishes to the players. The players selected in the Indian Railways Women’s Football team include Swarnamai Samal, Rashmi Kumari, Vishnu Priya Mahanta, Shilpi, Nandini Munda, Raveena Yadav, Suprava Samal, Supriya Rotre, Sushmita Sven, Manpreet Kaur, K N Devi, Lochna Munda, Sangeeta Das, Mamta, L N Chanu, Tara Khatoon, Diparnita Dey, Lahri Mangraj, Montessori Chanu, Madhushmita Bairik, Coach Kamal Kanta Singh, Archishman Biswas, Zakir Hussain, Manager Asha.
