FOUR footballers from Nagpur have been selected in the Maharashtra team that will participate in the West Zone Qualifiers of 75th Santosh Trophy Football Championship which is going to be held at Jaipur in Rajasthan from December 1.

 

Defender Rohit Kanojiya , midfielder Bhuvan Jerpot, defender Stanley Peter and midfielder Vasu Kanojiya will be part of the 22-member Maharashtra squad. Bhuvan Jerpot, who plays for Big Ben and Rahul Club’s Vasu Kanojiya will be playing their second Santosh Trophy while for Young Muslim Football Club’s Rohit Kanojiya and Rahul SSA’s Stanley Peter it will be their maiden appearance. Nagpur District Football Association (NDFA) President Haresh Vora, Secretary Iqbal Kashmiri and other members congratulated all the players.
