Christopher Peter of Rahul Sankrutyayan Club and a qualified WIFA referee is officiating in the Santosh Trophy (North Zone Group A) under way in Chandigarh. Peter, 27, will be officiating matches against Services, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Chandigarh and Jammu and Kashmir. Peter got selected after he passed the fitness test last month at LNIPE Gwalior. The tests include CODA Test, sprint running and high intensity test. Peter is the third referee from city after Stanley Gregory and Kalim Ansari to officiate in prestigious Santosh Trophy.
