1MP Battalion NCC Jabalpur on behalf of NCC Group Headquarter Jabalpur organised a blood donation camp at Kalaniketan Polytechnic Mahavidyalay on Wednesday. The camp was the part of the series of activities being organised to celebrate the 73rd NCC Day celebration 2021. The blood donation camp was the part of the multifaceted activates and varied curriculum of the NCC, which provided unique opportunities to the youth for self-development. The NCC continues its relentless efforts towards moulding the present youth into responsible and law abiding citizens of tomorrow. The blood donation camp was organised under the guidance of Brigadier R K Chhikara, Seva Medal, Group Commander, NCC Group Jabalpur. More than 50 cadets volunteered for the noble cause of blood donation wherein more than 50 units of blood were collected.
 
Cadets from 1MP Battalion NCC, 2MP Girls Battalion, 4MPCTR, 1MP Sig Coy and 1MP R&V took part in camp. Colonel Amit Gupta, Commanding Officer and Lieutenant Colonel Sanjay Singh, Adm Officer of 1MP Bn NCC were especially present on this occasion. The District Redcross Society has sent a team led by Ashish Dixit and Sunil Garg along with Dr. Amitosha Bhalla from Seth Govinddas District Hospital (Victoria) along with the infrastructure required for the camp. A special thanks to Dr. RC Pandey, Principal, Kalaniketan Polytechnic Mahavidyalay Jabalpur and his team of Captain Kamlesh Mehra ANO and Amit Kashyap to make this event a success. The cadets were briefed about the benefits of blood donation and how they are helping society by this noble cause.
