KFC 2nd T20 Deaf Premiere League: Kolkata beats Hyderabad by 7 wkt

On day two of KFC 2nd T20 Deaf Premiere League organised by Indian Deaf Cricket Association, Deaf Kolkata Warriors, Deaf Punjab lions, Deaf Chennai Blasters and Deaf Bangalore Badshahs ended up registering victory in their respective matches on Wednesday. The matches were played on Faith Cricket Club Ground, Ratibad Square, Bhopal. In the first match between Hyderabad and Kolkata teams, Kolkata won the toss and opted to field. Hyderabad team logged a score of 138 runs in 20 overs for the loss of 7 wickets and Kolkata achieved target in 18 overs to win the match. Santi from Kolkata was awarded Man of the Match. Second match between Punjab Lions and Mumbai Stars witnessed Punjab team’s victory over Mumbai. Batting first, Punjab team scored 149 runs and delivered lethal bowling to choke Mumbai team at 133 runs.
 
Virender Singh from Punjab was awarded ‘Man of the Match’. In third match played between Delhi and Chennai teams, Chennai team triumphed over Delhi team by 39 runs. Delhi team opted to field first, while Chennai team registered 154 runs in 20 overs. In a bid to chase the score, Delhi team gave in at 115 runs to lose the match. Sai Akash was conferred title of ‘Man of the Match’. In the final match of the day between Rajasthan and Bangalore, Rajasthan went to field first and Bangalore scored 154 runs. While chasing the score, Rajasthan team collapsed at 139 runs to name the match after Bangalore. Jatinder Tyagi was named Man of the Match.
