DR Ambedkar College Sports Academy XI thrashed Deekshabhoomi XI to storm into the final of Dr R Krishnakumar Memorial Cricket Tournament.

In the semi-final, DACSA thrashed Deekshabhoomi XI by 10 wickets.

Batting first, Deekshabhoomi XI posted 115 for seven in 25 overs. Wicketkeeper-batsman Arjun Mahajan scored 38 runs while Viraj Maheshwari scored 24. For DACSA, Adiv Soperee took two wickets.

In reply, DACSA XI toyed with Deekshabhoomi XI bowlers and scored the required runs in 16.4 overs without losing any wicket.

Ranveer Jichkar scored a fine unbeaten half-century (55) with nine boundaries while Palash Khandekar scored unbeaten 43 runs.

Khandekar was named man of the match.
